• Tim Holtz – Spooky Halloween card

Hi guys!! Today I am sharing one of my all time favorite Halloween card. I absolutely LOVE the end result. I used the monster reunion stamp set from Stampers Anonymous. I absolutely love this kind of artwork, and it makes me go out of my comfort zone since I am used to have cute critters on my cards.  For this project, I started by cutting a watercolor cardstock panel 4 1/4 by 5 1/2. I used Canson XL watercolor cardstock. After that, I used hickory smoke, black soot and cracked pistachio in distress oxide sprays to add color to my panel. As always, I spray a first time all of…

  • Honey Bee Stamps – Lilies for a birthday

Hi guys! Today I am sharing a card using the Lovely layers easter lily dies from Honey bee stamps. I fell in love with their flower dies that you can stack up together after watching Amy (prairie paper and ink) using them on her youtube channel. She uses a lot of die cut pieces and distress oxides and I wanted to try this technique today. It was a LOT of fun making this card, and I will make more of them in the future, playing with inks and being carefree with the results is really fun.  For this card, I started by die cutting all of the pieces of the…

  • Trinity Stamps – Best place to be

Hi guys! Today I am sharing a card with the cute gnomes from Trinity Stamps Best place to be stamp set. As I’ve already said, I love gnomes, and I think that this is one of my favorite, they are just so adorable! I wanted to make a little scene with these gnomes, so a slimline card was perfect for that. I make my slimline cards to be 8 1/2 by 3 1/2.  I started by stamping the images on Strathmore marker paper with memento tuxedo black ink. For the copics I used:  For the boy: B05; BG05; BG01; C2; C1; C0; YG09; G02; YG41; N2; N5; N7; E000; E02;…

  • MFT – Bears and Bees

Hi guys! Today I am sharing another card using the We Beelong stamp set from MFT . I wanted to make a card for someone who just had a baby and I thought that the bears where the perfect match.  I started my card by die cutting a panel with the Stitched rectangles stacklets die from TE  from Bristol smooth cardstock . This cardstock is fabulous for ink blending. Then I used Antique Linen distress oxide to ink blend my background. After that I die cut brown cardstock and the panel with the hexagons pops die. Since I don’t own any gold cardstock, I embossed a sheet of paper with my gold…

  • My Favorite Things – You keep me afloat

Hi guys! I am sharing a father’s day card using the stamp set You keep me afloat from MFT. I was inspired by Koren Wiskman video using this stamp set. She used her polychromos pencils to color the images, and it made me want to use my pencils. I mostly use them to add shadows on my copic or watercolor images. She made me want to embrace the look of the pencil and I must say, I am in LOVE with how my rabbit turned out. Beware, I am hooked now and all of the cards that I made this week were with my pencils.  To start this card, I inked…

So, today I am sharing another card with this AMAZING spring birds stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. I made a LOT of cards with it already, and I still have plans for a lot more. So, I started this card with stamping and coloring the bird and the branch. I stamped with memento tuxedo black ink, which is a copic ink friendly ink. For the copics I used: For the bird: E31 ; E51 ;…

  • My Favorite Things – Adorable Adventurers

Hi guys! Another cards with a stamp set from My Favorite Things. I finally got my hands on this set, and I must say that it’s one of my favorite. I am starting to make more scene cards, and I must say, I am having a blast.  I colored all the images and die cut them with the matching dies. I find it easier to stamp all of the images, and color them before trying to make a scene. It’s easier to play with the images on the card after they have a little color on them.  It took me a lot time, but in the end, it was worth…

Y17 ; YR04 ; YR09 ; E08 For the light on the critters I used a combination of Y11 and Y08.  I made sure to keep the…
