• Tim Holtz – Spooky Halloween card

Hi guys!! Today I am sharing one of my all time favorite Halloween card. I absolutely LOVE the end result. I used the monster reunion stamp set from Stampers Anonymous. I absolutely love this kind of artwork, and it makes me go out of my comfort zone since I am used to have cute critters on my cards.  For this project, I started by cutting a watercolor cardstock panel 4 1/4 by 5 1/2. I used Canson XL watercolor cardstock. After that, I used hickory smoke, black soot and cracked pistachio in distress oxide sprays to add color to my panel. As always, I spray a first time all of…

  • MFT – Bears and Bees

Hi guys! Today I am sharing another card using the We Beelong stamp set from MFT . I wanted to make a card for someone who just had a baby and I thought that the bears where the perfect match.  I started my card by die cutting a panel with the Stitched rectangles stacklets die from TE  from Bristol smooth cardstock . This cardstock is fabulous for ink blending. Then I used Antique Linen distress oxide to ink blend my background. After that I die cut brown cardstock and the panel with the hexagons pops die. Since I don’t own any gold cardstock, I embossed a sheet of paper with my gold…

  • My Favorite Things – You keep me afloat

Hi guys! I am sharing a father’s day card using the stamp set You keep me afloat from MFT. I was inspired by Koren Wiskman video using this stamp set. She used her polychromos pencils to color the images, and it made me want to use my pencils. I mostly use them to add shadows on my copic or watercolor images. She made me want to embrace the look of the pencil and I must say, I am in LOVE with how my rabbit turned out. Beware, I am hooked now and all of the cards that I made this week were with my pencils.  To start this card, I inked…

  • Simon Says Stamp – Slimline card and birds

Hi guys, today I have another project with the Sring birds stamp set from SSS. I LOVE this stamp set and I cannot get enough of it. With this card, I wanted to practice my no line watercoloring with distress inks. Since I wanted ALL of the birds in the set, I had to make a slimline card (3 1/2 by 8 1/2). I use my mini distress inks to colour the birds. First, I stamped them with Antique Linen distress ink.  For the birds, I used speckled egg, tumbled glass and salty ocean.  For the branch, I used walnut stain, old paper and peeled paint. I used the bitty…

Hi guys, today I am sharing a card that took me a while to make, but I am in love with the results. After watching a lot of Debby Hughes videos, I wanted to try no line water coloring. I tried a while ago, but never really like the results, but when I received these birds, I thought it would fun to try with this stamp set.  For no line colouring, I used distress ink antique linen and I stamped the birds and the branches from SSS Spring birds stamp set on Canson XL watercolour paper. I die cut, with the same paper the bitty birdhouse from SSS.  For the watercolour,…

I used Canson XL watercolor paper and Versafine Clair Acorn ink, which is waterproof.   I wanted to make a cute scene with these bunnies, using my Prima watercolor Woodlands collection (my most used set recently), but things went wrong really fast. The only thing I could salvage was the bunnies and I decided to cut them and used…
