Trinity Stamps – Best place to be

Hi guys! Today I am sharing a card with the cute gnomes from Trinity Stamps Best place to be stamp set. As I’ve already said, I love gnomes, and I think that this is one of my favorite, they are just so adorable! I wanted to make a little scene with these gnomes, so a slimline card was perfect for that. I make my slimline cards to be 8 1/2 by 3 1/2.

I started by stamping the images on Strathmore marker paper with memento tuxedo black ink. For the copics I used:

  • For the boy: B05; BG05; BG01; C2; C1; C0; YG09; G02; YG41; N2; N5; N7; E000; E02; E11
  • For the girl: BG23; BG11; BG10; Y11; Y08; Y17; E37; E35; E33
  • For the flowers: R81; V05; YG03; YG17; E08; E37.

For the background, I die cut white cardstock with the Modern emboss frame panels from Trinity Stamps and I inked the sky with distress ink tumbled glass and salty ocean. I added some splatter with water and with the salty ocean ink. I love to add splatters to my backgrounds, I think it always adds a nice touch.

For the scene, I used the great outdoors die set  from Trinity stamps, so the white fence the grass and the path. I used cracked pistachio and evergreen bough distress oxide for the grass. For the path, I used scattered straw and tea dye distress oxide. I added splatters like my sky.

I glued all of my scenery pieces on the die cut panel and I foam mounted the gnomes and the flowers. I added the bees after everything was glued because I thought it would bring the scene more to life. Then I glued everything on a white card base made with neenah classic crest 110lb

I finished my card by adding some embellishments by lucy’s little things and added white with my gelly roll pen. The sentiment is from lime citron and it’s says: It’s your birthday, let’s celebrate together, and I thought that it was so fitting with the two gnomes.

Hope you like my project ! Thank you for visiting me !
