Simon Says Stamp – Flowers for Mother’s Day

Hi guys, so today I am sharing a mother’s day card. I stamped the floral mix background from SSS on a panel of Strathmore Marker paper. I cut the paper with a rectangle from Hero Arts nesting rectangle infinity die . I use memento tuxedo black ink to stamp my background, since it’s copic friendly ink.

I then used some copic markers to colour this panel. I used R02 ; R14 ; R24 for the rose, BG000; BG10 ; BG11 for the blue flower and Y11 ; Y06 ; Y17 for the sunflower. For the leaves I used YG03 ; YG17 ; YG67. I used B99 for the background because I wanted to make the flowers the focus of the card.

To finish the card, I stamped and die the word Mom, with the On the block-Mom stamp set from Taylored Expressions. I must say, this little word stamp might be one of my favorite. I used Hickory Smoke in Distress oxide ink, and stamped it multiple times with my Tim Holtz stamping platform. I white emboss on a black cardstock a french sentiment to pair with the mom. To add a little bit of sparkle, I added Artic Sky Sizzix sequins.

I foam mounted the mom die and added it with my sentiment on my colored panel. I then made my A2 card base with Sea Salt cardstock from Taylored Expressions. This card was quick and easy, but the result is beautiful!

Hope you guys like it ! Thank you for visiting me !
